So just one book to post on this time. I finished The Big Sleep today. I found it quite good. Easier reading than the other books lately and shorter and interesting. All around a good read. It’s about a private eye who is working a blackmail case for a rich guy. I must admit I didn’t figure out the mystery before detective Marlow, but I would have felt very smart if I had. Next is Blood Meridian, the last of my “B” books. I read the first chapter and found it hard to follow and violent, but I have hope because I talked to someone, about a year ago, who was reading it and he loved it so we’ll see.
